Despacito is Banned

Despacito – inspite of being the most streamed song of all time, Malaysia has banned Despacito from state radio and TV channels. It was announced by the government just as it hit and became the most streamed song of all time.

The Spanish-language smash hit is INAPPROPRIATE for children because of sexual references. Malaysian Officials at state-owned RTM stopped playing the song by Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi after receiving a lot of complaints from the public about the lyrics “not being suitable”, said Communications Minister Salleh Said Keruak on CNN.

“The song was filled with numerous sexual references and innuendos and thus wholly inappropriate to be aired by our national media outlets for our general public, especially children”.

This announcement had burst a lot of reactions from the fans. There are negatives and positive reactions. Some said, there are a lot of the same lyrics of Despacito yet no banned. Some says, it should be banned.

Music or songs are very influential to all especially children. If there are inappropriate lyrics played on that song well, no questions asked. It should be banned. We do not inspire children to express inappropriately in public. We still be decent for children for them to be inspired
